While we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, we understand there may be circumstances where a return or refund is required. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled.
1. Warranty Coverage
All parts come with a standard 90-day limited warranty unless otherwise specified on your invoice.
Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Warranty does not cover:
Improper installation
Accidents or misuse
Normal wear and tear
Unauthorized tampering, disassembly, or modification
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return:
You must contact us within 30 days of receiving the part.
The part must be in its original condition as shipped, complete, and unmodified.
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained before shipping the part back.
Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.
3. Restocking Fee
All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
This fee is deducted from your refund amount.
4. Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
If a shipment is refused or returned without prior authorization, all related freight charges will be billed to your account or deducted from your refund.
5. Refund Process
Refunds are issued only after the returned part has been received, inspected, and approved.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
Electrical parts (e.g., alternators, starters, sensors)
Parts damaged due to improper installation or mishandling
Special-order parts
7. Core Returns
All cores must be returned complete and in like kind and quantity unless otherwise agreed.
Cores must be returned within 30 days to receive the core refund.
8. Order Authorization Agreement
By placing an order with DAMSS AUTOPARTS LLC (DAMSS AUTOPARTS) via telephone, email, messaging, or online, you agree to the following:
I HEREBY AUTHORIZE DAMSS AUTOPARTS LLC (DAMSS AUTOPARTS) TO CHARGE THE ORDER AS DESCRIBED ABOVE ON MY CREDIT CARD. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS ORDER IS PLACED VIA TELEPHONE, EMAIL, MESSAGING, OR ONLINE AND IS BINDING UNDER OUR TERMS. THIS PURCHASE IS FOR USED AUTO PARTS. IF I REFUSE OR RETURN THIS SHIPMENT FOR ANY REASON, THE FREIGHT CHARGES WILL BE CHARGED TO MY CARD. THESE PARTS CARRY A STANDARD 90-DAY WARRANTY UNLESS SPECIFIED DIFFERENTLY ON THE INVOICE. ANY TAMPERING, DISASSEMBLY, OR MODIFICATION TO THE PART WITHOUT WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION WILL VOID ALL WARRANTIES. ALL PARTS RETURNED OR CANCELLED MUST BE RETURNED COMPLETE AS SHIPPED AND ARE SUBJECT TO A 25% RESTOCKING FEE. ALL RETURN FREIGHT CHARGES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL PARTS ARE RECEIVED IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION.
